Photo Editing Experiment

Over the weekend, I had a great conversation with a friend regarding photo editing styles. As a result, he decided to give me one of his photographs to see how far I could manipulate it. For the editing, I aimed towards the somewhat unreal looking style of many commercial photographs. This is my first time trying to achieve this "look" and therefore, the results are not perfect - but they are encouraging!

The Road To Cover

Chances are, if you follow the automotive show scene, you've come across a few cars that made you wonder why it hasn't been featured. Personally, I wondered the same thing every time I ran into Frankie and his incredibly clean RHD ITR. For years I consistently told him, "Dude, your car is ready and worthy.. You should try!" For one reason or another, that was always put on the back burner and never truly pursued. Finally, towards the end of last summer, I asked if he wanted to do a shoot and give it a try. As you can see, he agreed!

The day of the shoot, I could tell something was wrong. When I called to confirm, he really didn't sound to enthused. Since we had previously talked and agreed on the shoot day, he decided to meet up with me anyways. He later told me, "I was actually thinking about canceling, but really felt bad in doing so and that's why I went". Looking back now, I'm quite sure he's glad he decided to go.

A few days later, after going through and editing the photos, I emailed the "chosen few" to my friend and colleague at speedlounge.com, Brian Chin, so that he could send them over to his contact at Import Tuner Magazine. Originally, my plan was to use these photos to show them what this car looked like and see how they felt about it. My thoughts then where that, while they were okay, my pictures weren't really that great and that if interested they would, and should, have a much better photographer take the final photos. Afterwards, I was more than likely going to just post the photos here and write a little bit about the car.

To my great surprise, Charles Trieu, Import Tuner's editor in chief, wanted to use my pictures. As you can imagine, I was absolutely ecstatic and very quickly shared the good news with Frankie! The rest , well - let's just say it was......"party time"! Well, sorta.... Once we settled down, the BIG question came. What kind of feature would it be? Cover? Maybe, but we weren't sure.. Don't get me wrong, we where both satisfied with being featured, but we still had to ask and so we did. When we heard back, we learned that getting the cover probably wasn't gonna happen. As disappointing this was to hear, we both had to look on the bright side and see that the feature was still on.

Having somewhat gotten over our heart break, we began to focus on the next task at hand. Take more pictures. I know what you're thinking.. More pictures? Yeah! See, when we first shot the car, we really didn't expect any of this to happen, and on that first day we actually had some issues. The car's back suspension was sitting too low and because of it, I couldn't really get good exterior shots. Furthermore, there where still a few mods yet to be installed.

What happened next is all bit blurry.. I believe it was after having completed the second shoot, that Charles informed us they had decided to have the fans vote for the cover car. In order to do so, they had to head over to their Facebook page like that and then like the picture of one of the four cars in the running. Personally, I had never heard of such a thing, but this decision totally opened the door for us.

Very quickly, two crowd favorites emerged - Ming's S15 and Frankie's ITR, with Ming taking the lead almost immediately, which came as no surprise. I mean, not only was that S15 amazing but Jonathan Domingo's photography was also top notch! Over the next couple of days, Ming and his S15 kept on consistently marching forward and were quickly building their vote count. Shockingly, the little ITR was not too far behind. Eventually, both the S15 and ITR spread such a lead over the other two competitors, that it was no longer a four car running. As someone put it, this had become "the battle between David and Goliath".

By this time, it had become clear that coming out on top was going to be no easy task. So Frankie and I did the only thing we could... Drive everyone we knew up the wall.... Well, maybe a little.... because, let me tell you, we were definitely blowing up people's phones and social media status feeds, telling them to continue voting. Thankfully, our friends came together in a way neither of us had ever seen before. Not only did they vote, but they also took it upon themselves to get the word out as well. We had people voting from all over the place, US, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, UK, Norway and so on! It was truly amazing!

The days that followed where nothing short of an extreme roller coaster ride. Little by little, we kept closing in, eventually catching up and passing him. However, with many days left, we knew we weren't out of the woods. Our lead was short-lived, because hours later, he took it once again. It seemed that we couldn't hold him off, no matter the votes or how big a lead we spread. We almost even gave up trying, but having come so far we knew that wasn't an option. Many nerve racking hours later, we took the lead once again and after that time, we never looked back!!!

Once again, I just want to say thanks to my family, friends, everyone one that voted, and Charles Trieu - because without all you, none of this would have been possible!!!!

Finally Getting It

There is absolutely no denying that I have a real obsession with vintage style color correction. However, for the longest time I really had no clue what effects or tools to use to get the images where I wanted. Finally after speaking with friends and A LOT of playing with my editing software I'm getting the results I want.

Skate Session

A few months back my good friends at World Crush Media invited me to the Back to School Skate Jam at NH's Granite Skate Park. The event was nothing big, but rather an open skate session for kids of various ages. While there I didn't take many photographs but the few that I did take I'm quite happy with. I'm not sure why I never posted them, but nevertheless here they are!

Cover Story

Say WHAAAAT???!!! Yes, that's right one of my photo's is currently on the cover of Import Tuner Magazine, not only that but there's also a full feature inside!! Honestly, until this day it's hard to take this moment in and believe it's real, even as I hold the issue in my hands. In the pass I could only dream such day would come, and for that reason I consider myself very lucky. On this Thanksgiving day I want to thank every single one of you who's helped me along the way from the bottom of my heart! Some people in particular include, my family (for all the support and encouragement), Roland Lemieux (for letting me borrow all your super expensive gear when I didn't have any), Nick Keating (for all your tips in editing), Charles Trieu, (for the opportunity to shoot for your magazine). I really wish I could name you all, but I'm afraid that if I did we would be here all the day, so again thank you all for everything. OOOhh, just incase you are wondering, the pictures are on the December issue of the mag, in stores now!!!!

Kaizen Tuning - GTR Build Video

A month and 12 days... That's how long it's been since I last posted here, and I'll be honest it feels like an eternity. I'm sure some might be thinking, "mhmm, he's slacking". Not the case by any means, but the lack of post on my part has had me bummed out as well. Not to worry though, as I've been working on many new and big projects in my absence, many of which I will be sharing with you in the coming months.

The Kaizen Tuning GTR Build was a project I started shooting back in July when the car was beginning it's disassembling process. After a few month the project has finally reached completion, and this gave me the opportunity to once again meet with the Kaizen crew to finish up the documentary film. The following are a few screen shots from the film which I hope to complete and release in the next couple of weeks!

Evo X Project

I'll be honest, when the EVO X came out with its completely redesigned exterior I wasn't exactly thrilled. Something about it just wasn't right... I can't even actually tell you what it was. What I can say is that seeing them modified definitely made me warm up to it. So much so that the X's supper aggressive exterior has become my favorite of them all! The best part is that it really doesn't take much to make this car look incredibly good. Take for example David C's Evo bellow, which with rather simple add-ons has been transformed into a true head tuner! OOhh and don't think for one second that this car is all looks no go, because trust me when I tell you. It's packing!!!

Mugen DC5

Jonathan Mugen Ortiz is unarguably well on his way to building a straight up show stopper DC5. To think he's just getting started definitely makes you wonder. What's next? All I will tell you is that the vehicle is a work in progress, with the next order of business being both interior and engine modifications, what those are is top secret of course. Well, at least for now.. I know... You're probably wondering if his middle name is actually Mugen, sadly no - but quite honestly that would've been pretty bad a%%. It's really just a nickname that has stuck with Jonathan due to his love affair with Mugen parts. Stay tuned for updates because this is definitely a project you'll want to follow!

Ferrari F430 - Kaizen Tuned

Kaizen Tuning took what was an already gorgeous Ferrari F430 and made it look even better with the addition of these D2 Forged wheels. I'm sure some may be wondering. Is that all? Of course not. Tutto Italiano

I'm not quite sure what it is, but lately I've been finding it quite hard to be satisfied with the way I'm taking photographs and/or how I edit them. It may very well be due to the fact that I'm constantly on a quest to improve. Because of that, I decided to try something new with the editing of the Tutto Italiano parade photographs. The process was a little time consuming, but I think that in the end it was worth it! Aside from that the parade was great! The Boston police department was nice enough to escort us all the way from the Larz Anderson Museum to our final destination at Quincy Market. Having them there was a cool feeling to say the least, as we pretty much took over any road we travel through. I could go on and on about how great it was hearing about 30 italian super cars and bikes roar through city streets and fly through Boston tunnels but in the end there's nothing that beats being there to experience it for yourself. Unfortunately I didn't photograph every car there, to be honest the conditions where less than ideal. Hopefully you enjoy these few that I did manage to take and post!

Steven of Precision Fabrication has managed to build an S2000 that not only sits pretty on an INSANELY wide set (11.5 at the rear) of CCW LM 20's, but also a car that packs some serious punch under the hood. You really have to see this car in person to be able to appreciate how aggressively it's fitted. From the rear it borderline resembles a drag prep'd car, yeah it's that crazy!! Shout out to the guys over at Massbodyworks for making the paint on this thing look better than it did from the factory. Enjoy the film!

Kaizen Tuning Track Day

Last Friday I tagged along with the crew of Kaizen tuning, as they unleashed the power of two shop tuned GTR's at Lime Rock Park, CT. Watching these cars race around the track and speed pass the front straight at speeds upwards of 155mph sure got my adrenaline pumping, the only thing that could have made it better is if I was driving myself. While there I was lucky to also capture some impressive prototype, Porsche 911 and Ferrari race cars practicing, which to be honest made everything else on the track look quite slow.

The Little Things

Macro Photography has never really been something I have tried or considered, but given the opportunity I figured, why not? Truthfully, I didn't expect to have as much fun as I am having looking for little tiny things to photograph. Ohh, and you how many photographers rave about old Nikon glass? Well, I guess it's true what they say - old school Nikon glass is absolutely amazing! The following images where taken with a Nikkor 105mm 2.8 Micro. Truly an amazing piece of glass, one which I might probably pick up for myself in the near future. It's not only sharp, fast, lightweight but come to find out also inexpensive! Enjoy the pics!

Mike Lee's E-92 M3

Mike Lee's E-92 is a great example of what to do when tuning any type of automobile, modified, but both clean and simple. Sure, I enjoy seeing over the top, crazy builds but for the most part I enjoy things that are tuned in this manner. However, don't be fooled by the simplicity of this BMW's exterior, because upon closer inspection, you'll find that it's packing some serious parts - like a full titanium Power House Amuse exhaust, to say the least. See for yourself in this short clip!!

Kaizen Tuning Open House

Kaizen Tuning is hands down one of the most exclusive tuning shops in Massachusetts. Yesterday was their open house barbecue, but unfortunately due to the inclement weather I was only able to get a few shots. The amount of quality cars there was almost unreal - I counted at least 10 GTR's ranging from R32's all the way to R35's. There was also quite a few nice Porches in attendance along with many well tuned G35's and BMW M3's. Stay tuned, as I'm working on doing some exclusive Kaizen cars video features!

On Top of the World

Prior to shooting Ezra & Rachel's wedding, I had the opportunity to go to the top of MT Mansfield, and wow - what a view. Being up there really made me miss snowboarding and skiing, so come next year I think we can all guess where I'll be.

Roughly four weeks back, I took a drive to Hampton Beach, NH to film my montage music video assignment. The wind that day ended up being so strong, that I decided to pack everything up and head back home. I did manage to get some shots which at one point almost erased. Yesterday afternoon I decided to practice my color correction with some of the footage in After Effects, and after messing around for a little while, was inspired to put something together with the rest.

Kinetic Typography

This is my final project for my foundation to media production class. I had the choice to do a music video, however, I thought, "Why not put a slight twist to it?" A few weeks ago, I came across what is known as kinetic typography and thought it was the coolest thing ever!! I asked my professor if I could do it and he said yes! Seventeen hours later, here is my first attempt at this stuff. I'll be honest, it's not so much that it's hard to do, but rather time consuming. However, since one of my goals is to learn how to use After Effects, I believe it's time well spent!

In Search of my Look

After being exposed to the art of color correction some time ago, I have been in search of a style or "look" that I can call my own. In all honesty, I highly doubt that I will ever find that one "look", as my inspirations and likes cover quite a large range. I finally have the Canon 7D. I purchased it mostly for it's video capabilities, but who can resist taking pictures with such a device, that which was meant to do so in the first place. Here are some of the first shots I've captured with the 7D and Sigma 30mm F 1.4. In all honesty, this camera/lens combo is fantastic and I can't wait to put a little test video together!

Wow, I can't believe it's been about a month since my last post. I'm sure some might have wondered and questioned if I had abandoned the site. The answer is, not at all. However, I've been so busy now that I started at Emerson College, that I've had little to no time to shoot anything. This is not to say that I haven't shot anything at all, because I did have an assignment that more or less forced me to go out and shoot a few images. I'll post some of those at the bottom. Now that that's out of the way, I can share some exiting news for this coming summer show season. As some of you may know, I have joined the team over at Speedlounge.com and will be going around with them covering events such as Formula D and XC Drift/Remix Show Tour, to name a couple. I'm so pumped for this - I have trouble putting it into words, so definitely stay tuned for that! Anyways, here are some of the shots I mentioned earlier, hope you like them!

One Last Hurrah

2010.........If I could describe it in one word, I think it would be "amazing". I figured, what a better way to finish and bring in 2011, than by editing one of the very first videos I shot. That's right - the Kanc Cruise!! I know, I know... Many of you where wondering, what ever happened?? To be honest, I just wasn't happy with the footage and no matter what I tried, I couldn't put it together. I figured I should at least give it another go - So I did, and came up with this. Not my favorite of edits, but then again it was one of my first shoots of the year. Looking back, I can see how I progressed throughout the rest of the shoots, but more importantly what I've learned. Failed attempts at new techniques where common but with each failure came a new lessoned learned. The fact that I've failed or messed up really doesn't discourage me anymore, but rather fuels my determination to get better. Being good at something does not happen overnight or magically, and if anyone tells you it does - they are wrong. To be good at anything - and I mean anything - you need determination, dedication, perseverance, PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE and in a way, courage. I say courage because you can't be afraid of failure or trying something new and that I think is something we can all apply to everyday life. I don't wan't to get too sentimental on all of you so I'll finish with saying:

Old dog, New Tricks

Well, I was feeling a little bored this afternoon, something which we all know can sometimes lead to trouble.. And it did... Aaaaactually, not really. What it led to was the re-editing of old photoshoots. Some of you might remember the clean and simple v-dub post a few months back, right?? Well, in all honesty I really did slack on that shoot when it came to editing. So with all this free time I happen to have now, I decided to load them back onto my comp and go to town!!! Here's what I came up with and to be honest, I'm very happy with the results!!

Having Some Fun with Photoshop

Lately I've been experimenting quite a bit with all my software, really just trying to discover what I can get out of them. For a long time I have wanted to try giving my photos a cinematic look with CC, but also adding letter box bars to kinda give it that extra "oomph". Well today, I finally figured out how to do the bars and how to add and blend logos, so here is what I came up with!!

On a side note, this shoe was actually there in the woods. Why? I really don't have a clue!

A Day Riding

It's video time folks.... or more like finally catching up on work time. I shot this quite a few months ago, but no matter which way I tried to go about cutting it I was just not satisfied. A few days back I sat down determined to find a proper track to use and after some time I found one and decided to give it another go. I will say it's on the short side, but then again I guess that has been a common theme for me this year<< Note to self make longer vids from now on!! Not too worry though because my friends and I are planning an actual riding film but since summer is long gone its gonna have to wait.... and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Enough with the blah blah blah here is a short clip of one day out on the boat riding!

Team ECR's Summer Meltdown 3

Well after many months finally here it is... I honestly had trouble with this edit, and ended up redoing it quite a few times before I arrived at this. I'm not really super happy with how it turned out, but I did the best I could with what I had filmed. Come next year things are going to change quite a bit. I have some new equipment on the way and all I'll say is... just get ready for some epicness<<< is that even a word?? Problably not... Anyhow here is the video enjoy!!!

A Perfect Pair!

It's OFFICIAL people, Wicked C.A.S has become a power house! Man do these guys love boost, but hey don't we all? A few weeks ago they came out with a 700+ WHP GT500, shortly after the 1,000+ WHP Supra, then I gave you all a sneak peek at the r33 project cooking up. So now what... Well...Project SC300 of course... I'm not at liberty to say much, but I will say that this is going to be one BAD SC!!

Exploring My Soon to Be New Home!

The wait is almost over, in a matter of weeks I will be hearing if I got accepted to Emerson College in Boston. I'll be quite honest the wait can sometimes drive you nuts, but I've been keeping myself busy enough so I don't have to think about it too much. I have very big goals for TT Productions future and with my acceptance to Emerson's Visual Media Arts program those goals will be that much closer to becoming a reality.

The latest from Wicked C.A.S and boy did they deliver! This Supra just put down a mind-boggling 1,000 whp @ 31 Psi and from what I've been told it's packing a few more horses as it flat lined the dyno at 1,000. Stay tuned because it's going to be interesting to see how much power this actually is putting down once the fumes settle!!!

My Cross Country Adventure.

A few months ago I had the opportunity to travel to Nebraska for the wedding of one of my family members. This was the very first time I actually travelled out west and well.... Its an experience I'll never forget... Lets just say I highly recommend that when you travel with a large group of people and a bunch of video equipment that you leave to the airport well.... Real early.. Either way I had a great time, here are few shots of the places I visited.

The wait is over!!! Finally I'm able to edit and post new videos!! As some of you know, I just recently upgraded to an iMac. Since I'm not made of money (who really is now a days?), that upgrade forced to wait until I had enough for both the new computer and editing software. That meant previously filmed shows and short films had to wait to be edited and wait they did. As of now I'm quite behind but will be working hard to finish and upload them as they get completed in the upcoming weeks.

Here is the first of many more to come, hope you all enjoy it. I had to change my plans with the way I did this one, the reason being that, I missed to capture what was to me key footage of the drifting competition.

Sneak Peek at My Upcoming Films

Recently, I made the decision that from now on I will only do my videos in HD. I wanted to do this so that you can all enjoy them in the best possible quality. My laptop however was not very happy with that decision, so I was happily forced to upgrade my computer. What I got was a new top of the line 27" iMac, trust me when I tell you- it's INSANE. I had to wait a few weeks to get it but it is now in my hands, only thing that's left to receive is my Adobe CS5 suite. Because of all this my videos have been very delayed. Currently I have 4 to work on, what I decided to do is give you all a sneak at them by posting a few still images.

VDub's are known for tasteful modifications. Brandon's gti is no exception- he has followed the rules of euro tuning to the t. Building what is in my opinion, one of the cleanest gti's around. Cars like this are what make the euro scene so appealing to many, including myself. They can be driven daily with no problems and you can put money on the fact that you will be turning heads everywhere you go.

Last Minute Show (Summer Send Off 2010)

The time is 9:30 Sunday morning. I stumble out of bed pretty much as I always do and start my day of with my usual ritual.. Going on facebook... I get a message from a buddy of mine inviting me to a show, which is usually not a problem... As I read the message I eventually get to the part that tells me they are meeting a 9:30 an leaving shortly after!!! Yeah that woke me right up, I get all my things, jump in the car and take off. Long story short, I never caught up to them on the highway but eventually did at the show. The cloudy skies eventually gave way to a little bit of rain, but that cleared up in about 30 minutes or so..

Go Pro HD Motorsports Hero Test

Just picked this up Wednesday, and decided to do a quick test before I actually use it in a proper video. I must say the video quality coming out of this is surprisingly good. The only complaint I have is the sound quality, but that is not why you get something like this. I'm sure in the future I might use some sort of external sound recording device to solve that small issue.

Team ECR's SUMMER MELTDOWN

Shortly after getting home from Maine last weekend, I washed my car, packed my cameras and took off. To my good friend David Medina's car show that took place in Lawrence, MA. Dave is no new comer to the scene and has hosted his fair share of car shows. This year he changed it up a little and held the show in a parking garage, let me tell you that he could have not picked a better spot. Despite the great turnout I was unable to take many pictures, not to worry as there is a video in the works for this. Stay tuned!

My First Camping Trip

Lately my life has been craziness 24-7, between work, school, and TT Production projects, I have had little to no time to sit back and relax. I figured before I have a meltdown to take a small weekend trip. A group of my friends and I did just that and took a few days off to go camping in Maine. No complaints on my part, this first camping experience was nothing short of amazing, the weather, location everything was just perfect! Unfortunately all good things must come to and end, so its back to work for me, I have quite a few videos to edit including the Summer Meltdown coverage from today.

HIN/ Nopi @ E-Town NJ Day 2

Well boys and girls, day 2 of HIN/Nopi did not disappoint one bit. Once again it was HOT as could possibly be, well at least for the most part of the day!! We managed to get rained out at around 4, which put some of my plans to record drifting footage to a screeching halt. I can't complain though, I had so much fun and once again met a lot of cool people, like the guys from Speedlounge and Foxmarketing, just to name a few. HIN/ Nopi @ E-Town NJ Day 1

The HIN/Nopi Tour is at it again, this time around invading the grounds of the Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown New Jersey. What a crazy day it was, pretty much about as crazy as the heat, what a scorcher. If you ask me it was all worth it!!,! Talk about Skyline overload, unless I have lost my ability to count, I believe there was six of them there :) Yeah I said SIX!!! The best part for me was by far getting my press pass, with it I was able to go pretty much where ever I wanted!!

THE CAR THAT STARTED IT ALL!!

Well here is, the beginning of TT Productions aka "Turbo Tiburon Productions". This is the very first pic I have a chance to take of it this year!!! After about 10 months of not being able to drive it, I finally got it on the road... With that amount of down time, it was a given that I had to take it out for a spin right away. The weather today was absolutely perfect for a cruise, so I met up with one of my friends and his tib ( more pics on that later) and we went up to my fav spot!

Hot Import Nights/ Nopi @ NED Day 2

On day two of this show things went down just as I expected. Allot of the people that for one reason or another stayed home Friday night came out woodwork's Saturday, turning the show completely around. So how could I described day two of HIN.... I think the word awesome pretty much sums it up, however that does not mean it all went down without any issues. I was informed earlier today that when it came time for the awards that there was a very long wait period as well as what seemed to be a few mistakes made in the judging. We all must keep in mind that this is a very big show and putting something together of this size is not an easy task. Sometimes things don't go the way you plan, no matter how much planning went into them. Being the optimistic guy that I am, I'm quite positive that as the show series moves on to their next event in New Jersey that they will workout all these minor issues and deliver the great event that I know they can put on. On a different note, yesterday I had my first opportunity to do night photography and if I may say so myself, some of those pics turned out pretty good!

Hot Import Nights/ Nopi @ NED Day 1

Well it's that time of year again and the big shows have come to town. This time is HIN and Nopi together as one to bring you the biggest auto event around. So far the show has had a somewhat weak outing but in all fairness we must take into consideration the time it started at. The way I see it, a Friday afternoon when almost everyone is still at work and 4Th of July weekend is difficult time for the start of a car show. So when you look at that and look at the amount of people there, then its not all that bad. I'm hoping that attendance will go up a little bit by tomorrow, time will tell... As always, I had a pretty good time and met a lot of really cool people.

This is the very first short film I have ever had the opportunity to work on. I had and absolute blast making it, I think part of it was because none of us involved had any acting, directing or film making experience. This uncharted territory was definitely interesting for all of us. For me it marked the beginning of more to come as I continue my journey towards Emerson college, where my goal is to mayor in both film and photography.

Credit must be given to movie teller films for their original work as this was based on their movie. I must say even though this was based on another movie it gave me a hands on experience on how much work goes into producing a film regardless of the length.

The rules are the following, one you most own a modified vehicle<<<< that's it... Just kidding.. Import Face-Off @ New England Dragway

Well, I was saying it all day yesterday and I'll say it again today- yesterday's weather was absolutely perfect. The car show season is barely getting started but already its looking like it will be a great one. The industries big guns deff came out swinging and even though they only had three cars there, Team Emotion successfully continued to draw big crowds around them all day long. Kiet Hong's RHD RSX is really aging like fine wine, its hard to believe that a vehicle that has been feature multiple times in magazines like Super Street, Turbo, etc can be modified better than it was the previous year. However, every year, again and again, this thing keeps getting better and better and better!! Sporting his new Mugen look along with some minty fresh looking polished engine goodies and titanium piping, Kiet's RSX is sure to be a contender this season, I would not be surprised if we saw another featured out of him. Another fellow Emotion member that came out strong, was Frankie Ortiz with his RHD ITR sporting some fresh falken rubber wrapped around a new set of mag blue TE 37's- put that with an engine so clean you can eat off of, and you have yet another car to keep an eye out for.

Many other teams where well represented yesterday, which included Team Velocity, Boston Lowriders, and B.E.S.T. Boston Low Riders took home the best team award but with many team cars still under the knife, I'm positive their competition will get tougher with more of them popping into the scene throughout the season. The racing wasn't too bad either with some nice close racing at some points. One of the highlights for me was actually seeing a 2010 Genesis tearing it up and actually winning the sport class running a best of 13.650 at 103.63<<< but then again I'm sort of biased when it comes to the crooked H!!!

Wicked Visit

Last Saturday I stopped by the Wicked CAS shop just to see what these guys where up to. Having been nationaly recognized as one of the top audio installers in the US, you can expect nothing but the best from them- they do it all from crazy all out show car audio installations, to your everyday ride upgrade install. On Saturday, I got a chance to squeeze in a few pics from a freshly finished Tahoe, as well as some video which I'm currently editing, which should be up shortly. So make sure you check these guys out for anything and everything that has to do with automotive audio systems.

Kancamagus Cruise

Just got back from the Kancamagus Cruise, sore, tired, sunburned, and with a partially gone voice- but it was totally worth it... This event was absolutely INSANE- 300+ cars, twisty mtn roads and open highways- for sure the right ingredients needed for a good time, that it was and them some... Its hard to put into words how much fun I had at this, but if I had to do that, I believe this sums it up WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! (maybe that's why I lost my voice... just a thought...) Unfortunately when you get this many people together, things are bound to happen: first the bike accident (luckily everyone was ok...), followed by incredibly reckless driving by some individuals. However, overall this was definitely a great event put together for a great cause. Hopefully this dark cloud does not loom over for too long, and we can keep on going with it and hope that people learn to behave a little better and not forget the whole reason for an event like this. Ok I'm done talking on with the pics. Thanks to everyone for attending this great event, to Alex for putting it together, and all the sponsors who helped raise money for the Make A Wish foundation!!!
