Formula Drift - Round 4 The Gauntlet 2011

A little over a year ago I attended my first Formula Drift event, an experience that today still ranks among the coolest things I have ever done. This video should have been released a long... LONG time ago, but as mentioned in another much earlier post this year. 2011 was a year of struggles.... After this event, I fell into a horrible editing slump, which all started when I became extremely intimidated by the videos released  by all the filmmakers I look up to from this very same event. As a result most videos I filmed last year sat untouched. After many failed attempts at putting this together, I decided to give it one last try. Somehow, somewhere I found inspiration where there was none before, and I feel I was able to come up with something that I'm pleased enough with to release. It's far from perfect, and in many ways extremely different than what I had originally planned for this to be, but as one of my college professors once told me. "Sometimes you have forget about what you wanted to do, and do something with what you have". Lastly, big thanks to my friend Nick Keating for coming along on this road trip and helping me shoot!!!

Kaizen Tuning 2012 STI - Exploration With Light

For a while now, I've been dying to experiment with flash Automotive Photography but didn't have the equipment or funds to buy it.  However, a few months back I received the best and most unexpected gift of all time. My cousin decided to give me her old studio light kit. I was excited beyond words! Now having purchased all other neccesary accessories (Battery Pack Etc.), I gave this new uncharted territory of photography a try. I don't think they came out perfect... but for my first time, I gotta say that I'm quite happy with the results and eager to do more shoots like this! I also owe a huge thanks to my friend John Raftery for helping me out with this, because I couldn't have done it without him.

A Few Randoms - June

I wish I had an interesting story or reason for the four images below, but the reality is that they're just the result of a few brief moments of boredom. It doesn't happen often, but when it does and I go out to shoot. I seem to always come back with something I really like!
