Here are a few pics from their wedding day - which if I may add, was absolutely perfect. The weather and everything fell right into place. This is only my third time doing wedding photography, and to be honest I quite like it!

Vans

Roughly four weeks back, I took a drive to Hampton Beach, NH to film my montage music video assignment. The wind that day ended up being so strong, that I decided to pack everything up and head back home. I did manage to get some shots which at one point almost erased. Yesterday afternoon I decided to practice my color correction with some of the footage in After Effects, and after messing around for a little while, was inspired to put something together with the rest.

Kinetic Typography

This is my final project for my foundation to media production class. I had the choice to do a music video, however, I thought, "Why not put a slight twist to it?" A few weeks ago, I came across what is known as kinetic typography and thought it was the coolest thing ever!! I asked my professor if I could do it and he said yes! Seventeen hours later, here is my first attempt at this stuff. I'll be honest, it's not so much that it's hard to do, but rather time consuming. However, since one of my goals is to learn how to use After Effects, I believe it's time well spent!

In Search of my Look

After being exposed to the art of color correction some time ago, I have been in search of a style or "look" that I can call my own. In all honesty, I highly doubt that I will ever find that one "look", as my inspirations and likes cover quite a large range. In recent weeks, I have sort of stumbled upon certain looks that I quite like. The following images are an example of what I like to call my "vintage/cinematic" look.
